I had this weird, shippy, parody type dream. And I woke up and said: Hey, with a few changes, this could be a weird, shippy, parody fanfic. That's why it's kind of out-of-character. This has nothing to do with any of my other fanfics, I just really wanted to type it up. (^_^;;
Another Rotten Day – A Parody
I knew the day was doomed when I woke up with a headache. I sat there trying to remember if Jessie had hit me in the head. Then I remembered that it was Meowth who had hit me. I think I had made fun of his voice again, though it's hard to remember.
I wandered out into the kitchen only to find out we were out of breakfast food.
"Jessie, what am I going to eat for breakfast?" I whined.
"We have oatmeal and fruit, James."
"Those don't have enough sugar in them, Jessie!"
Jessie glared at me. She plopped a box of brown sugar on the table and put a spoon down next to it. I decided I didn't want to get hit in the head again so I had Pepsi for breakfast.
Jessie went into her room then and came out dressed in a slinky little dress instead of her normal uniform.
"Hey, you look great!" I said. I went up and put my arms around her. I leaned over to kiss her.
"Knock it off, James!" she yelled, and pushed me away.
"You let me kiss you last week," I said. "You even enjoyed…" I stopped. She was really glaring at me now.
"So what is the dress for?" I continued weakly.
"We're going to capture Pikachu, that's all," she said cheerfully.
"Pikachu? What are you talking about? We gave up on that thing ages ago!"
"Well, maybe we just weren't trying hard enough," she replied.
"Jessie! The twerps aren't even afraid of us anymore! The last time we saw them you did Misty's hair and Brock showed me his little black book."
Jessie raised an eyebrow in suspicion. "That's what that was? And whose number did you get?"
"Well, it was basically empty," I said. "I mean, I'm pretty sure 1-800-NURSJOY is a fake number."
"And you were even more sure after you called it, right?"
"Um… yeah…" I admitted, sweating.
"Well, never mind that, we've got to get busy," said Jessie. "Go put on some nice clothes."
I put on some pants and a decent shirt. It wasn't as nice as Jessie's dress but I wasn't getting out my tuxedo at this hour and only my parents have ever made me wear a suit.
"You'll do," said Jessie when I came out.
Meowth came out of his room and joined us then.
"So, we're going after the twerps," he said cheerfully.
He seemed quite ready to do it, even though the last time we saw them he spent hours playing with Togepi. So I shrugged and went along.
"So what's the plan?"' I asked.
"Oh, the usual, burst into the Pokemon center, say the motto, send out Weezing and Arbok…"
"That's never actually, um, worked, Jessie…"
"Well, we're taking them by surprise, they haven't seen us in ages."
I was getting nervous.
"Meowth, what do you think?" I asked.
"You worry to much, James. Jessie's right, the twerps are outta practice, we'll get that Pikachu this time."
"And do what with it?" I thought. But I didn't bother saying it.
Well, the bursting in and reciting the motto part went fine. Professor Oak was there for some reason, along with the twerps and Nurse Joy. Weezing went and did a gas attack that had everyone coughing and yelling.
I was sure I heard Ash say, "I thought you were our friends!"
But pretty soon they I lost sight of Weezing and Arbok and realized that we were in trouble. Jessie grabbed my hand and we began running down a corridor. She pulled me through a door at the end.
Jessie, Meowth and I found ourselves in a small room. It was like a cell, there were bars set into one wall. Soon I heard running feet and I saw that the twerps and their companions were running toward the other side of the bars. They stood there, glaring at us.
I ran for the door but it wouldn't open again. We were trapped, jailed by the twerps.
I was terrified. I threw my arms around Jessie.
Suddenly I realized Jessie was giggling.
"What's going on?" I asked.
That was when everybody yelled "Surprise!" and started throwing confetti.
"Happy Birthday, James!" said Jessie. And she kissed me on the lips.
I think I passed out then. But when I came to Jessie kissed me again and there was chocolate cake.
I don't know what I'm going to do for her birthday now.
