Note: These are just my little impressions of how I feel about various popular pairings (can't cover every possibility) for Seras and Walter, heavily influenced by fandom. It's not at all an attempt to show what works and doesn't from canon. (And it's definitely not an attempt to show what will happen in canon. With the obvious exception of Pip I actually think nothing will.) And there's no bashing here. Pairings for Seras: 
Pip Bernadette! Canon love! This handsome braided man with the eyepatch in the manga started out as a possibility with romantic tension that increased over time. Then in a dramatic scene he lost his life defending Seras from the evil Jolene, kissed her, and died in her arms. Can't beat that with a stick and I'm certainly not going to try. I will however point out that Pip does not (unfortunately) appear in the anime, and even in the manga he is now regrettably gone. After a suitable period of mourning... you never know. Walter's very different from Pip, to say the least, but certainly has gentlemanly charms of his own. (As noted on the evidence page, Pip's personality seems to have migrated into Seras's body now, giving Pip x Seras compelling developments. Plus we have the development of Dark Walter, making Walter x Seras in the mangaverse an iffy question indeed. Further developments in canon and fandom will be interesting speculation.) 
Alucard! Vampire Love! Alucard is after all Seras' master and shows her some caring in the anime. And even in the manga where he's a much darker character he can't quite get rid of her. Personally I rather prefer Integra for Alucard, so I suppose that does influence my opinion of this ship. But it's a fine idea, and I can see something happening between them, especially decades down the line when Hellsing and all its humans are gone. (Of course there are scads of variations... such as Alucard/Integra/Seras three-ways, Vampire Integra and so forth... but I won't get into all of that here.) 
Integra! Yuri Love! This has all the appeal of two strong beautiful women hooking up. And in the manga there's even a bit of possible tension there. I rather enjoy a good story or art about this one, regardless of whether it's my first choice for either of them. (Variations occur as mentioned above) 
Anderson! Rival Love! I've been seeing more fanworks for these two lately and they make an interesting couple. The vampire/vampire killer dynamic certainly has potential, and it's something different to see a rival male/female ship, as they seem much rarer than rival slash pairings. (Though in Hellsing we also have Integra/Maxwell, as seen in my links...) Pairings for Walter: I'm sticking to anime-age Walter here. He unfortunately gets relatively little love action, but there are pairings for him out there. The Hellsing world being as small as it is these are actually all the same people. 
Pip! It's... interesting! I keep having to change my text here from "No one ever wrote it" to "Actually I wrote it" too... Well at least a couple of people wrote it, and it tends to be very dark and involve improper use of wires. Just thought you might like to know. I'm not sure what either of them has to say about this, though I imagine Pip might have a suggestion. Ahem. 
Alucard! Yaoi Love! While people mainly make this pairing when Walter is in his bishounen youth, there are those who like Alucard/Older Walter, and why not? He may not look the way he once did but he looks good to me. Alucard could certainly have the good taste to go for Walter at any age. 
Integra! Hellsing Love! Integra and Walter certainly care for each other, and probably feel safe together, so who knows? They've always seemed more like family to me personally, but that's just me and they are not of course related at all. Perhaps they have romantic feelings for each other behind the external composure each seems to have. 
Anderson! Huh? I couldn't resist including this because I did see a drawing of it once. And it was in fact disturbingly sexy, though to be honest most of the other people who saw it made comments along the lines of "my eyes!" In conclusion: There are many interesting possibilities here, and I just like to have fun considering Walter and Seras to be one of them. |
